At Dental Haus, we understand how apprehensive anyone can be when visiting their dentist—especially kids!
We encourage you to bring your child to see us by age one.
Paediatric dentistry is a branch of dentistry that focuses on the oral health of infants, children and adolescents. It includes everything from preventative care to the treatment of dental problems in young patients. Children’s dentistry is important because it helps ensure that children have healthy teeth and gums as they grow and develop. It also helps prevent dental problems from developing later in life.
We offer a wide range of children’s dental services including preventative care, tooth extractions, fillings, crowns and more. We also offer orthodontic services to correct any problems with the alignment of teeth. We understand that children can be anxious about visiting the dentist, so we do everything we can to make the experience as pleasant and stress-free as possible.
It’s recommended that children see a dentist within six months of their first tooth coming through, or by their first birthday at the latest. This allows us to keep an eye on their oral health from a young age and identify any problems early on. It also helps get children used to visiting the dentist, so they don’t develop any fears or anxiety about it later in life.
Some children can be anxious about visiting the dentist, but there’s no need to worry. We have a lot of experience dealing with anxious patients and we will do everything we can to make your child feel comfortable and relaxed. We offer a number of sedation options for children who are particularly anxious, which can help to make the experience more pleasant for them.
